Ms. Tiffany Thompson

Hello.  My name is Tiffany Thompson, and I am the 6th grade counselor. I also serve as the Lead Counselor.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree at St. Mary's University in Interdisciplinary English with Teacher Certification, and my Master's Degree at the University of Texas in San Antonio.  This is my 27th year in Education.  I taught 3rd-7th grades for 9 years, I was a Professional School Counselor at Karen Wagner High School for 9 years, and this is my 9th year as a Professional School Counselor at Woodlake Hills Middle School.

I truly believe that children are our future.  My goal is to meet the social, emotional, and educational needs of all of my students as if they were my own.  My door is always open, so please call or e-mail me with any of your concerns or needs.

Mrs. Karen Ybanez

Hello! My name is Karen Ybanez, and I am the 7th grade counselor.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree at the University of Texas Pan American, (now the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley) in Communications, and earned my Master's Degree in Education in School Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

This is my fifth year as a Professional School Counselor at Woodlake Hills Middle School, and I am so honored to be a part of this amazing team.

I believe in the power of education, compassion, kindness, and respect. I believe that every student deserves an education. I believe that every student should be seen and heard, and I believe that with the support and guidance from, teachers, family and our community, our students can be successful in reaching the goals they set for themselves.

Mrs. Annette Hildebrand

Hello! My name is Annette Hildebrand, and I am the 8th grade counselor.

I earned my Bachelor's degree at The University of Texas at San Antonio in Interdisciplinary Studies. "Go Roadrunners!" I earned my Master's degree as a School Counselor from Sul Ross State University. This is my 21th year in education. I taught Kindergarten for 5 years in Eagle Pass ISD then moved on to Round Rock ISD where I worked as a Professional High School Counselor for 5 years. In 2013, I moved to San Antonio and worked at Karen Wagner High School for 4 years as a Professional School Counselor. This is my 7th year working at Woodlake Hills Middle School and have enjoyed every minute of it.

I decided to pursue a Counseling degree to help children do their personal best and be successful in life. I look forward to working with your students. I have always told my students that my door is always open. Please feel free to contact me by email or phone. :)
